In this 2.5-hour (10am-12:30pm), hands-on pottery workshop, you'll experience the art of slab-building to create two custom espresso cups, designed to add a personal touch to your daily ritual. With step-by-step guidance, you'll enjoy the process of working with clay, whether you’re a total beginner or an experienced potter looking for a fresh project.
Workshop Highlights:
Guided Instruction: Follow your instructor's lead as they break down each step to handbuild your 2-3 oz espresso cups. With a supportive, interactive teaching style, you’ll feel empowered and confident throughout the process.
Customizing Your Cups: You’ll get hands-on experience attaching handles and learning how to decorate your cups in ways that reflect your style. We’ll also cover different surface techniques so you can add texture and unique patterns to your creations.
Glazing & Firing: At the end of the session, you’ll select a glaze color for your cups. Our team will handle all of the glazing and firing, so your pieces will be expertly finished and ready for pickup in about 4 weeks.
