👜 Handbuilding Basics: With guidance from our skilled instructor, Helen, you’ll learn how to slab-build the base of your bag, shape creative handles, and add decorative elements to make it truly one-of-a-kind.
🎨 Adding Color: Once your handbag is formed, Helen will also teach you how to use colored glazes to bring your design to life. Whether you prefer subtle hues or vibrant patterns, you’ll explore techniques to make your handbag pop.
✨ Personal Touches: From playful details to bold accents, you’ll have plenty of inspiration and support to create a handbag that’s as unique as you are.

Instructor Bio:
Helen is a ceramicist in San Francisco. She picked it up as a hobby during the pandemic 3 years ago and has stuck with it since then. She loves making functional pieces and infusing their magic in every day life. You can find her and her frogs on Insta at @helenspots.

First Class
Please arrive about 5 minutes before the class begins to check in and find a seat.
Age Requirement
The classes are paced for and primarily booked with adults, but students 16+ can sign up with a guardians permission. If you have any questions please email bri@sumiware.com.
Cancellation Policy
To request a cancellation or refund, please email bri@sumiware.com. Refunds requested more than one week prior to the class date are fully refundable or you can reschedule to a different class. Refunds requested within one week from the class date are 50% refundable. No refunds are given within 24hrs of the start of class. Should a class not fill sufficiently, it may be cancelled 24hrs prior to the class date and full refund will be issued to those enrolled. Thanks for understanding!
