Get into the holiday spirit at Studio Sumi with our Bells & Bubbles workshop! Sip on some bubbly while crafting your own unique ceramic ornaments in this festive 2-hour session. Whether you're brand new to clay or already a seasoned creator, this workshop is a fun and creative way to make handmade decorations for your home or thoughtful gifts for loved ones.
What to Expect:
Festive Welcome: Start the evening off with a complimentary glass of champagne or sparkling cider to set the festive mood. Relax, unwind, and let your creativity flow as you dive into making your ornaments!
Hands-On Crafting: You’ll be guided step-by-step through creating 3-5 unique ornaments, using handbuilding tools and cookie cutters to shape both 2D and 3D designs. The number of ornaments you create will depend on your design and complexity.
Glaze and Decorate: After shaping your ornaments, play with colorful glazes to decorate and add patterns to your pieces. You'll also be shown how to use carving techniques with the glaze to create more patterns.
What’s Included: We’ll provide all the materials, tools, and festive vibes. Your ornaments will dry for a week and go through two firings, with a total turnaround time of about 2 weeks—so if you create them now, you’ll have them back in time to enjoy all season long!
Perfect for Beginners: No experience? No problem! This workshop is perfect for anyone wanting to try something new, whether you’re a first-timer or an experienced maker.

First Class
Please arrive about 5 minutes before the class begins to check in and find a seat.
Age Requirement
The classes are paced for and primarily booked with adults, but students 16+ can sign up with a guardians permission. If you have any questions please email bri@sumiware.com.
Cancellation Policy
To request a cancellation or refund, please email bri@sumiware.com. Refunds requested more than one week prior to the class date are fully refundable or you can reschedule to a different class. Refunds requested within one week from the class date are 50% refundable. No refunds are given within 24hrs of the start of class. Should a class not fill sufficiently, it may be cancelled 24hrs prior to the class date and full refund will be issued to those enrolled. Thanks for understanding!
